      Auto Damage Adjuster Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Las Vegas, NV
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GEICO (Las Vegas, NV) in Oct 2011

      Interview

I have just recently been interviewed with Geico. The process was a relatively simple one. I applied online and received an e-mail a few days later stating that my resume met the qualifications and that I would have to call their Human Resources department to set up an over the phone interview. I called the number that was listed and left a brief message. Two days later I received a call from the HR department to schedule an over the phone interview. The phone interview was relatively simple. We spoke about my last jobs, what did i do, what type of jobs have i been applying for, what do i expect out of a company, ect. During the job interview the HR representative went over in more details the length and type of training they require for the position. Basically there is a lot of traveling involved, and the training would last for 3 1/2 months. Afterwards they asked if I was still interested in the job. Upon saying yes I was then scheduled for an online test. The test was a two part test that I took from my home computer. Basically the HR rep called and told me which site to go to and gave me a test key and stayed on the phone while I took the test. There was a practice test that i did take prior. The test it self wasn't too bad. The first part is basic comprehension. Read a paragraph and answer questions. The second part, test spatial acuity. Look at a 3d object and decide how many blocks the object is touching. After the test I was told that I passed and that my information would be forward to the local manager for my area and that I would be contacted with in a week. I was also told that if I didn't hear from the local manager to call HR back.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas-Fort Worth) in May 2026

      Interview

I got a first interview which was a Zoom interview with a single recruiter. It was relatively informal and easy going. They appear to simply want to see if you are who you say you are on your application and you do indeed have the background and knowledge which you claim. My recruiter was very nice and very easy going. She asked just a few very typical questions about my job history. Easy stuff. We had a really positive conversation and she stated she was going to recommend me for an in person interview with the local claims manager. She said that would take place a neutral location such as a collision repair shops so we can discuss my field knowledge. She told me to expect a call from him in the next 3 business days. I received no communication after that. I emailed my recruiter after 2 weeks and asked for any update at all and received no reply. Three weeks after my initial interview I received an email stating I did not get the job.
