Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (London, England) in Mar 2018
The recruiter contacted me in Linkedin, we had a 5 min chat and she invited me to meet the middle management. The interview went great and all these people really seemed to enjoy their job. Then I met their senior management, one of them showed up to the interview 20 minutes late and didn't seem to want to be there. I also completed a case study which would have been great, but the recruiter gave me wrong instructions. The recruiter seemed to not like her job very much, our calls were all a few minutes long and she always wanted to hang up even if I still had questions. They also forgot to pick me up from the reception and didn't believe me when I said I was there 15 min early. The thing that bothered me the most in this process was the lack of feedback. I invested hours and hours to this, I also took time off from my current work. Regardless of me asking many times, I didn't get any proper feedback in between the interviews and after the whole process. I even emailed a few of the managers to ask for the feedback directly but never heard back from them. I love what the company does for their clients and truly believe in their mission. Considering this company is all about professional development, it is a shame that this doesn't seem to reflect in their hiring process.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GLG (London, England)
Interview process went well and was wrapped up within a fortnight (2 x in house interviews) but then was kept on hold for 5 weeks with weekly conversations to check my status, as they were going through a 'hiring freeze'. Apparently this is quite common. Then received email rejection despite indications that is was the hiring freeze holding up an offer. Disappointed that they didn't have the decency to call then!

I applied online. I interviewed at GLG
Interview process was pretty straightforward. I first applied online and then was contacted for a phone interview. After the phone interview, I was called into the local office for an in person interview, but a Skype interview was also an option. The interviewer had a copy of my resume with him and would ask me questions based on experiences listed on it. Also an emphasis on how you work on teams and how you handled a situation where you had to work with someone you didn't see eye to eye with.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG
Had a 20 minute phone screen with a newer member to the GLG team. The interviewer called 30 minutes later than scheduled which I found to be highly unprofessional. Later had another 30-minute video call with the hiring manager.

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GLG in Oct 2016
Company seems good so I applied, interview process was quick and I got call for interview within 2 days of application. HR (Mr Samanavaya) who called was impressive as he explained company business model in best manner one can understand GLG and was patient while I asked too many questions and they were answered well. Next round was a online interview(Mr Jatin) which went well he also explained things well and I was asked to submit a case study in 24 hours. I cleared initial rounds and was asked to meet a senior person in Mumbai (prasantha) the round went well too but I received that I am not selected after 4 days of interview. However no particular reason was mentioned.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Austin, TX
I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Austin, TX) in Jun 2016
The process took about 6 weeks and consisted of a phone screening in which they asked pretty basic questions to learn if there was a fit. I had the option of a video interview or an in person interview for the official meeting. We did a video conference and the questions were similar to the phone screening but a little more in depth.
- Describe GLG's business model.
Anonymous Interview Candidate in Dublin, Dublin
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GLG (Dublin, Dublin) in Sept 2015
Replied to an ad on the company website, that sought a Russian-speaking intern. After having two phone interviews with them, I was invited to an in-house interview at their office in Dublin. This came to a considerable expense, as I had to fund my own accommodation and travel, even though the firm 'turns over millions'. The interview was lengthy and focused on more personal questions, as opposed to anything company/competency related. After the interview, GLG sent me an email which stated that the 'position' advertised is no longer suitable for the company and the recruitment process will not be pursued further....Why bother advertising? Or are they just incapable of giving constructive feedback?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at GLG (London, England) in Jan 2015
First phase telephone interview. Called on time and was very polite in her manner. Very friendly interviewer. She mostly asked generic questions about my career history and what I knew about GLG. None of the questions were really surprising, mostly a discussion and an attempt to see whether you have the right skill set required for the position.

Anonymous Employee in Austin, TX
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Austin, TX) in Jan 2015
Very straightforward. Applied online and then received a phone call to interview for the intern position, and then an invitation to interview in the office. Questions revolved around my prior experience and my knowledge of what the company does. The whole process took about two weeks. They reached out shortly after the in-office interview with an offer.
