      Partner Apprentice Interview

      22 Apr 2010
      Anonymous employee
      New Delhi
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gallup (New Delhi) in Jan 2010

      Interview

It all started with an online personality test. After I crossed it, I was called for a phone interview. After about 3 weeks, somebody emailed me asking for a quick chat on the phone. During the chat I was told that there will be one more phone interview. Both the phone interviews were of personality type questions. With questions on examples of the type. After the2 phone interviews I was called for an in person interview with the Country Manager, CMO and HR. It was a really interesting process. My advice is think about your past and think of different scenarios from you life. Also go with an open mind, especially when you are doing the online test and the phone interview. If you are not a good fit, then you won't enjoy the work or your colleagues. So just be yourself and good luck!

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Gallup in Jan 2010

      Interview

I applied online for Emerging Leader - Business Development Consultant. Below are the steps I went through to make it to Gallup: 1. 1.5 hrs online test consisting of psychometeric/behavioral questions to know the real me. Since i came from a BD background, i answered all the questions with the intent of getting the job done at all costs. 2. Got an email from Gallup mentioning I will be interviewed over the phone within a week. 3. Got a call from a lady in Gallup. She called me up a week in advance to fix up a time and day for the telephonic interview. 4. My interview was fixed on a tuesday morning. It lasted for 1.5 hrs. The lady asked me behavioral questions with a afollow up on examples and descriptions of situations to substantiate my answers. 5. Got a call for another telephonic interview next week. This one was more comprehensive and lasted for about 1.75 hrs. 6. Got an email from the Director of Talent resources based in USA, saying that I am almost done and she would like to set me up for a 1:1 interview. She called me up on the time mentioned by me in the mail correspondence and fixed up a date and time for the interviews. I was to be intetviewed by the CMO, CHRO over the video conference and by the country manager face to face. The interview with the CMO lasted for an hour where he asked me questions about why gallup and why within 5 months of joining my current employer? I had my reasons and explained him. Then i asked a lot of questions about gallup's competitors, market share etc. The interview was positive. The interviews with CHRO and country manager were positive too. 7. Finally I was called up by the country manager and we negotiated on my salary, post which an offer was made to me. I am joining this March, 2010.
