Garden City Hotel interview questions

Applied for Hotel Rooms Coordinator, they had me meet with a director for the position of GSA? Confusion cleared and I met with someone from reservations for the position of reservations/sales agent, which I did not apply for. The manager was incredibly rude during the interview and didn’t ask many questions, which tells me they don't vet their employees well enough and just want to fill a spot. Pay was $16 for that position. the staff is being grossly underpaid for a property that averages $250 a night. Not the place for a true hospitality professional. This property gave me big red flags in regard to professionalism and management.

My friend told the manager first, and he brought me to the human resource office to fill out the application. It takes about two weeks for background check and they called me for an interview. I'll meet with the maitre D first at the hotel lobby, have an interview and see the general manger.
