Golden Specialty interview questions

I should have known from the initial phone interview that Golden Specialty was going to be a horrible company to work for. In that interview I told the owner that I was in the National Guard, he seemed highly concerned that the Guard would interfere with my ability to work for his company and proceeded to ask detailed questions on future deployments. During the face to face interview things got really awkward as the owner really only talked about a former employee and how bad he was, and the bad things he did ect. Salary was discussed and the low pay turned me off on the job, after discussing that with him he promised that I would get a raise after the 90 day probationary period, which he later denied even saying.
