I applied in-person. I interviewed at HealthEx (Woburn, MA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Quick interview but in my follow up asking questions they ran for the hills. Hidden fees, erroneous informationI was excited about the job until I started asking questions and then they ignored me. You have to sign away ALL liability and then pay a 3rd party administrator $60/month to work for them, and you pay even if you don’t work; you MUST get a form of workmen’s comp either on your own or through the 3rd party administrator for another $60-$100/month depending on how much you earn; the online training didn’t address half the questions on the test; they said in MA commercial insurance is not required, that’s true if you want to risk not being covered if the insurance finds out, my insurance company told me I must get commercial insurance and that would increase my premium by $2200; mileage is based on their calculation not your odometer or real mileage.
AAA calculates the cost to operate a vehicle at .58/mile. At $1/mile you are making .42/mile, plus you pay the tolls. They suggest an unlimited data plan increasing your cell phone cost $25/mo; although a small cost the courier is charged for the background check. When I asked if radiation levels were checked before a courier picks up a package I got no answer
In summary, I asked a lot of questions and they wouldn’t answer any of them. That’s why they are hurting for couriers. By signing away all liability you are on your own no matter what happens. You get in a car accident carrying those meds and the insurance company finds out, and they will if you have radioactive substances in your vehicle, you will be denied coverage. Disputing payment requires long arbitration process.

Question 1
nothing unexpected. But they didn't answer my questions
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HealthEx (Des Plaines, IL)
Interview
very laid back interview with minimal questions. Seems they hire when they are looking and as long as you can talk and follow directions they will hire you. They give you a fixed schedule on the spot and as long as you are available for that spot you will be hired. Not much professionalism for the interview process at all.
