I was approached via LinkedIn initially to see if I was interested in opportunities with them and discussed over the phone and via email with HR what posts they were looking for. I was offered an informal chat with the dead of department which went well so I formally applied for a post they had open. The interview was with the head of the dept I had previously met with and the head of HR. It was detailed and analytical but friendly and they were very clear on how the systems worked and how friendly the firm was. They (and the offices) were very professional and modern but it did feel personable.
