I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HyperTrack in Jul 2019
Interview
Initial phone screen with VP of Engineering. He was a little late to the call. It was difficult to understand what he was saying over the phone. Rough foreign accent with slurred words.
So immediately without introductions he begins to tell me to take charge of this interview and explain to him why I want to join Hypertrack. I'm a little taken back by his rudeness but I go on.
We go over projects I've done in the past and he asks me a few system design questions regarding tracking mobile phone locations.
I asked him their onboarding process and he laughed in my face, literally. He said they don't onboard new developers and he expects them to produce straight away.
Definitely stay away from this company. Red flags everywhere. I can't imagine working with this guy. Huge jerk with an even bigger ego.
