Applied online through glassdoor. With in 3-4 days, got email from HR for an Ad-Hoc discussion in Hangout.
First Ad Hoc Discussion:
Initial HR talk to check what I am looking for, about the roles and responsibilities.
They asked me my expected salary. HR mentioned their max budget, which was much like 30% less than my expectation, I straightway said no, but HR convinced me, that if things go positive, they would add some more numbers on top of their max budget and persuaded me to have further discussions first
Second Round Discussion :
It was discussion with a doctor cum product head. He was nice professional. Mainly non technical talk, asked me he has some problem with release cycle and how would I fix it. Mainly managerial talk
Third Round :
It was with technical director. He was nice person and has got sound technical knowledge. He gave me some real life situations and asked me how would shape the test automation in the organization, my strategy, but not that detailed. Asked me about my salary expectation, joining time needed, how soon I can relocate to Mumbai etc.
Fourth Round :
It was with a Vice President, mainly managerial talk, how I would fix the process etc.
Fifth round:
It was with a AVP, again mainly managerial talk, why I would like to join , how can I solve the situation and handle team conflicts etc. Nothing to detailed.
Finally HR emailed to have further a discussion and asked to shared some docs,
Strangely, HR offered me a salary, which at the very first discussion, I said a big NO and did not want to go ahead, then HR said, don't worry, we would add some more number if things go positive, lets have the discussion first.
