was not a fun process, spoke to many many people. Was strung along the process and found it unprofessional. The guy that interviewed me was some senior manager, but he was extremely unprofessional. Seems like a cult like company
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at INTURN (New York, NY) in Oct 2019
Interview
Was reached out to on Linkedin by an internal HR member. Job sounded interesting and I was on the market so I agreed to get on the phone. First had the standard HR screen. Had a talk with the hiring manager within a few days after that. Then was brought in for a multi-round interview with a bunch of different teams within the company. Everyone was really friendly. When I waited at the front of the office random people would ask me if I needed any water, coffee etc while waiting. I am good at picking up on red flags, I didn't pick up a single red flag at Inturn and that has turned out to be true.
As far as the technical interviews, I was not asked to do any coding on-site and was not given any take-home assignments. I was asked some coding questions but they were verbal and open-ended rather than the typical "read my mind" questions people like to ask in coding interviews. The hiring philosophy is very much about hiring smart people that can learn. In my opinion this is a good hiring policy.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at INTURN (New York, NY) in Sept 2020
Interview
I was reached out to by an internal recruiter and joined a first introductory 20-30 minute call where the recruiter asked questions and also pitched the company. The following call was with a senior hiring manager for about 30 minutes and this call included multiple behaviourals. I was then asked to wait for the internal recruiter to provide next steps. Likely there would normally be a third round, but I never heard back including after followed up. Overall interviews were friendly and the questions standard. Ghosting is clearly a trend.

Question 1
Standard "tell me about a time" interview questions. Interestingly, Inturn's also had their questions online on a ziprecruiter link
