very short notice given for interview. Great HR contact. But at interview it started to go wrong. Not a great impression of the company. A really long interview, without much information given. Not great at communication. No constructive feedback.

Well-organised and in constant contact with the team. The process was four steps starting with the submission of a CV and Covering Letter and some additional questions, then followed by a situational judgment test, then a video interview and finally an assessment centre in Royston.
- How do you feel about the rotational aspect of the program?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Johnson Matthey
It was pleasant enough, the interviewers didn't really seem like they wanted to be there all that much though. it was OK overall however and wouldn't discourage anyone wanting to work there.

Very communicative from JM, all interviewers ask welcoming and relevant questions. Could not have asked for a better process in terms of a graduate scheme process. Make sure you know prior knowledge and give honest reasoning about why you want to be apart of JM.

The interviewers were helpful and asked a range of questions from basic chemical knowledge and also used the STAR acronym system for me to answer. They were also keen to hear of questions from me

Insane. Had to put together puzzles as a group. Had to come up with and brief a safety plan. Did a ton of stuff and the pay was terrible for Philly.

The interview process was very easy. Panel interview with 5 people asking questions relevant to my resume. It took them very long to get back at me but I was offered a position.

2 stage interview: 1st stage - Microsoft Teams meeting: Engineering manager and senior process engineer in attendance. Technical questions. Probe into experience in a manufacturing environment. Nice and fairly relaxing process. 2nd Stage: On site tour - more of a interviewee POV. Met the team, had conversations on processes and how the modification parts of the engineering team works.
- 1. Safety questions - what would be the process if there was a safety issue. 2. Experience on risk assessments and exp with HAZOPS and COSHH assessments. 3. Who are you outside work.

Two-stage interview with competency section and technical section. Fairly standard questions for each, though the technical section was slightly more difficult than the average I have seen in similar interviews after interviewing for some other positions that are similar.
