Even though everyone I interacted with at LPL Financial was nice, intelligent, and welcoming, the overall interview process left me with a not-so-great impression of the company. Getting from phone screen to 3 additional interviews and a test to rejection took nearly two months. After every interaction with LPL, I was left completely in the dark with no idea what the next round would be or if the company was even going to contact me again. I'd often be waiting for more than a week with no follow-up. During that time, I'd convince myself that the company was going to ghost me, only to finally get another interview request. By the final test, I assumed there was a good chance I'd get an officer. Instead, I submitted the test, heard nothing for slightly more than a week, and got an auto-rejection email. Not a great way to treat what I assume was a final candidate! I did eventually get a rejection email from a human eight hours after the auto rejection email, but I still don't think that was the right way to let me know I didn't get an offer. I'm writing this review becuase after all of that, LPL had the gall to add me to their email marketing list. It's honestly rather disappointing because LPL seems like a company full of great people, but definitely one that needs to refine its interview processes and candidate communications.
