Linear B Senior Full Stack Developer interview questions

First interview with a Team Leader. It was very unstructured, we talked about big projects that I particapated at. The interviewer’s facial expression conveyed what I could only interpret as “quiet disdain and disinterest.” I told him that in my previous role, I worked on the company’s marketing website, and he asked why they needed an entire team for that instead of just hiring a few Indian workers to handle the job—this, after I had explained that I developed complex features there. Even when I explained that I was let go from my previous position due to budget cuts and financial constraints, he pressed on, asking why, of all people, I was the one they chose to fire. The interviewer made me feel uncomfortable about my previous roles.
