The manager reached out for an interview via text, and I thought it went well! We scanned my resume, talked availability, why I want the position, etc. At the end of the interview, I was told that they would reach out for a 2nd interview with the hiring interview. I never heard back, even after reaching out. Super unprofessional, and shows no respect for time. Even if they decided to pursue a different candidate, why promise a 2nd interview and then ghost? This has to stop being the norm with jobs. You would expect more coming from a luxury hotel that is supposed to hold exceptional standards.
