This position was brand new and therefore they did not follow a typical interview process. Initial contact was an email to arrange a telephone interview. Then I was invited for an in person interview where you meet an HR rep, then 2-4 other members of the multidisciplinary team. This interview took place one month after the phone interview. A month after this first in person interview, I was invited for another, to meet the lead research manager and the director for the specified policy area. I was told almost a month later they went with another candidate.

I applied online and was contacted a few weeks later to set up a time for a phone interview. The phone interview was with someone working part time for the organization and was working in a different office than the office I was applying for. (Interviewer was in CA, I was applying for NYC). The conversation went great, typical interview questions exactly as other questions listed on this website. The interviewer then said the NYC office would be in touch with me if they wished to move me further. I never heard back from anyone from the organization.
