I was a sales associate at a J.Crew Factory looking to move up into management. I was made aware of the job from my store manager at J.Crew Factory and she called to set up an interview for me with the store manager at Madewell. I was asked to fill out an application online and then was brought in for a in person interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Madewell

Pretty standard interview process for a lower-level retail management position. It was a less formal ‘chat over coffee’ type of interview. Be prepared to share your style influences and who you think epitomizes the Madewell look.
