I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MasonHub in Aug 2022
Interview
Recruiter phone call, then a call with the engineering manager to discuss process/tech stack, then an in-person project-based technical.
The chat with the engineering manager went really well, I enjoyed it as a get-to-know-you and a casual discussion of technical stacks and tradeoffs. It was convivial and collaborative.
They gave me a link to the repo in advance, but I understood there was no expectation of working ahead. The repo was a small golang backend, with questions around debugging/implementing/testing a couple of endpoints.
I had received the repo and was prepared for the interview when they canceled the night before--they had met head count and wouldn't be moving forward. Oh well!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MasonHub (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in Apr 2021
Interview
Zoom and in person. Interviewers take the time to walk you through the building and operations. They tell you all about what you’re walking into and thoroughly describe what your job responsibilities are. There’s no smoke and mirrors and they’re up front about what you will be dealing with.

The process took 4 days. I interviewed at MasonHub (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Process is quick. Interview is similar to actual work. But they interview when they don't have the headcount. End to end process took less than a week and despite nailing all the interviews I was rejected, in favor of a referral. This is kinda shameful.
