Initial e-mail from Recruiter 6 weeks after application. 45 min. phone screening 3 days later. Standard resume questions, but VERY detailed. E-mail from hiring manager 2 days later (I was away on vacation; not good; they want an IMMEDIATE reply), led to phone interview a week later. HM was visiting Charlotte for a week doing phone and in-person interviews in anticipation of the relo to CLT in November on his cell phone with a very bad connection. Putting together a training class to start in August, in a temporary location as facilities in Ballantyne won't be ready until mid-November at the earliest. Job description was so poorly written that I had no desire to get this job after hearing more about it. Salary range of $30-40K, call center type work. I was WAY overqualified (and, I suspect, overage. Think they want 20-somethings). Salaries are down in CLT vs. what they were in the northeast. HM seemed totally stressed out. Metlife doesn't seem to have their act together on the relo.
