I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Sept 2021
Interview
2 rounds of technical interviews. I had 2 medium leetcode-style questions in 45 minutes, with the last 5 minutes for questions. Interviewer did not run my code; I wrote code in a language oy my choice in a text editor that was not compiled - emphasis was on my explanation of the problem and my code to solve it.

Interview
The interview process was straightforward and well organized. It started with an initial recruiter or screening conversation about my background, research experience, technical skills, and interest in the role. The interviewer also asked behavioral questions about past projects, teamwork, and how I handled technical challenges. Overall, the process felt clear and professional.
