I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (Sunnyvale, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
Phone Call with a recruiter, followed by an initial technical screening round. Recruiter said the technical screening must be completed within 2 weeks from the recruiter call.
I joined the interview 4 minutes late, as Zoom forced an update when I clicked to join. I got a medium-difficulty question, and I was able to implement the logic and give a code walk-through with test cases.
The next day I got an email saying I was rejected but the feedback was positive.

Question 1
Circular Buffer implementation. Read and write N number of items at a time. What areas of the implementation do we need to check for corner cases?
felt like standard interview process for CS students. There was a design question on distributed systems. Not catered for embedded software roles. Coding questions are all from LC tagged 100 meta questions
Recruiter reached out after applying online. The process was quick and super smooth. Scheduled an online assessment interview phone call as first step. I did the coding in C++. Overall pleasant interview experience.

Question 1
It was leetcode based question. A slight modification
Screen round not completed. Given the coding interview on coder pad doesn’t have to compile the code but needs to write the logic for the questions asked and also write the test cases
