Typical consulting interview process with a mix of behavioral questions and critical thinking questions. They wanted to understand the approach and thought process behind the analytical questions. They also ask questions on latest technologies.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Metis Strategy in Jul 2024
Interview
Two rounds of behavioral/situational questions, 0.5-1 hours each. Final round with panel for 3 hours, case study+situational and resume related questions.
Got back to me 3 weeks after final round with a generic rejection email after ghosting me completely during. Unprofessional HR scheduled and cancelled a meeting in between, with no explanation why.

Why consulting? Why Metis? Experience walk through
Thank you for your review. Apologies for the mix-up on the auto-generated messages from the ATS as we get up to speed on using the system.
We appreciate everyone's time during the process and patience as we navigate through the candidates in our queue. We work hard to view each candidate's application versus using AI, which does take some time.

Interview
I had a great experience interviewing for the Associate position for Metis on the West Coast. I was reached out to by a Senior Manager in the Dallas office for a phone screen. Then had a video interview with the Vice President on the West Coast that consisted of both a behavioral and case with some quant. My last interview was a 5 hour long behaviorial and case interview in the west coast office. The team was welcoming, caring, and fun to talk to. Once I got an offer, I spoke with the President of the company, Peter, who was more than willing to answer all my questions as well as a couple different associates from different Metis offices. The main thing I think that sets apart Metis is the mentoring you would get directly from firm leadership. In the end, I did not go with Metis, but leave the process loving the company.
