Met with a recruiter to discuss the role and my background. I was given a writing assignment to return within 48 hours. After that, I was told the hiring manager would review my work and decide on next steps. I returned the assignment the next day, but never heard from Netflix again. I reached out to the recruiter once more, but I never received a response. It's okay not to want to move on after reviewing my work, but it's incredibly tacky and unprofessional to ghost a candidate after they've produced something for you.
