I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New American Funding (Novi, MI) in Mar 2016
Interview
Went over selling process, closed loans and personality. Eventually we had gone over previous work experience. I was referred by a current employee. Since we had worked together at a previous institution, she felt I would get along great with the culture and values New American promotes. Management is very honest and I can appreciate that.
Had 3 separate interviews not hard Asks about experience where you see yourself long term and other theoretical questions about how you would handle specific scenarios overall not too bad
I interviewed at New American Funding (California City, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
A lot of overpromising. A sign-on bonus, but you can't make a living on what you actually have to work with. The interest rates you can offer a client are the highest in the industry.
I applied online. I interviewed at New American Funding (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
Had an initial interview with a NAF national recruiter followed by interviews with VP of Sales and Sales Manager. Received job offer and accepted. Entire process took a few weeks.
