I was interested in the research the PI was doing so I went in and talked to him in his office. He showed me around the lab and asked if I wanted to be a part of the group.

Interview
they simply ask you what your future goals are and then assess if they think you align with their plan. It was really easy going and extremely casual, I did not feel any pressure during the interview.

Interview
One on one interview with one of the post-docs. Very casual, followed by a tour of the labs. Some of the questions referred to my prior experience while others were questions about handling fast paced environments. Additional questions about how I would handle conflict.
