I applied through university. I interviewed at OpenText (Hyderābād) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process at OpenText typically involves multiple stages designed to assess a candidate's technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit. While the exact process may vary depending on the role and location, a common sequence includes:
Initial Screening: This stage often begins with a phone or video interview conducted by a recruiter or hiring manager. The discussion focuses on the candidate's background, experience, and interest in the position.
Technical Assessment: Candidates may be required to complete a technical phone interview, covering topics such as past projects, educational background, and core concepts in JavaScript, SQL, and object-oriented programming.
At-Home Assignment: Some positions include an at-home assignment, which may involve a mini-project or coding challenges to evaluate the candidate's practical skills.
Onsite or Panel Interview: The final stage often involves a panel interview with team leads and colleagues. This session may include discussions on technical topics, problem-solving exercises, and an assessment of how well the candidate aligns with the team and company culture.

I Had a great interview experience! The interviewer was friendly, made me feel comfortable, and asked insightful questions. The conversation flowed naturally, and I appreciated the clear communication throughout the entire session.
