They focused a lot on my previous salary’s and how someone shouldn’t expect more than what they were making at a previous position. The change in responsibilities, expectations and benefits did not seem to matter to them just the salary. They also spent a lot of time focused on your willingness to go above and beyond for the company. Be prepared to have examples of doing so because they will ask. At the same time they spent time telling you how they will do the minimum for you, but doing it in code. Example, willingness to work as an outside contractor so they can avoid employment associated expenses, willingness to work after hours with no expectation of compensation, willingness to take on responsibilities without the authority, willingness to perform the work of a manager for the pay of a supervisor.
