Pearson Senior Software Engineer interview questions

First had a screening call with a Pearson recruiter. Technical interview was a deep technical conversation about resume and previous work experience with Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer. I was expecting live coding based on conversations with the recruiter but it was largely just technical discussions.

The interview process included one technical round, mainly focused on discussing my past system contributions. Evaluation covered Java, Microservices, Monitoring tools, and System Design. Straightforward and structured, with emphasis on practical knowledge and architecture experience.
