I applied in for the Lead Recruiter - Emerging Programs role and was contacted within a few business days letting me know I had progressed to a first round interview which was a video interview with the hiring manager for the role. There is an AI bot that reaches out to you to schedule the session - at first I thought that this was great and future forward but the AI bot isn't built to handle all of the different types of candidate scenarios and there is no point of contact to reach out to if you have any questions. My first round interview was cancelled 90 minutes before my scheduled time - I get that things can come up, but the AI bot made things challenging to reschedule (no point of contact and very limited additional availability). I was able to reschedule my first round interview and during the interview I was informed that I would be moving to the next round of the interview process. However, the morning following this interview I was informed that I had been rejected via a canned email response. I know things are tough right now across recruitment teams/industries, budgets are tight, and teams are stretched. But that being said, this was a negative experience for me.
