I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Phunware (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Phone screen with the Director of Software Engineering, followed by a very difficult to understand homework problem. There was like 3 pages of instructions and a 10 page wireframe design guideline, all that had to be done in 8 hours.

Question 1
The only question that really mattered was the homework problem
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Phunware (Miami, FL)
Interview
Pretty dishonest. Everything was said as excelent to the end, they ended up emailing plain disapproval though. I'm personally advocate of straight forward speech, and constructive critism. It tasted to me as trying to fool people.
I have very good feelings from other interviews in my career when I did not get the job, but they became perfect guidelines from feedback.

Question 1
What do you know about us? What did you do here.. and here?..
I apologize you didn't have a great experience and appreciate the feedback.
That said, Phunware nor any of our managers are dishonest.
Through this interview process we had a handful of VERY talented developers and selected the best one for the opening we had. I am sorry you weren't selected and we have made a process change on our end so that you won't just get an automated email when not selected but rather a phone call with feedback.
Good luck in your search and if you have more feedback please send me a note and I we can set up a call or a face to face. skenyon@phunware.com

Interview
One call and a face to face interview with skill test, but it may change depending the position you are applying for. Overall I have to say it was nice and smooth.
