I was extremely excited when I was scheduled for a phone screen with Pinterest. I felt like the interviewer and I hit it off really well. I nailed all the questions, the conversation was flowing, and things were generally moving towards a positive direction. We talked about next steps and concluded that she’ll be in touch soon. The next thing I knew, I revived an automatically generated rejection email. I was shocked and thought his was some sort of mishap. I followed up with the recruiter and I never heard from her again. she... just...ghosted me! I was extremely confused as to what happened and what went “wrong”. Judging by the other comments here it seems like I’m not the first and only person this has happened to. It seems like a lot of us dodged the bullet on this one!
