Process started off well, however it was slow. Took about 3 months in total. Including 6 rounds of interviews, one round included meeting 3 separate members who whilst they were lovely we could have just done it as a panel interview. In my final interview which was a presentation, I felt like the manager had me confused with somebody else - probably because it had been over 2 months since we had last spoken. I thought that was the last interview but then heard a week later I was to meet the country manager. Fine. I thought that was almost like a final tick box so I felt excited, felt like it went really well. Then complete silence. One week later a very casual email into my inbox that I did great but another candidate had been selected. Not only was I really disappointed, i had put hours of work into the presentation and been hanging around for weeks on end to hear if I was in the next round but the casual email rejection stung hard. I have never experienced such an unprofessional recruitment process and recruitment team. More than once I emailed questions about upcoming interviews to be met with radio silence. I then had to chase the recruiter for feedback afterwards. I just found it baffling, For a business that is so focused on providing a positive experience to their users they couldn't give two hoots about people who show an interest in working for their business.
