Application/Resume. Can’t remember if there is an assessment next (I’ve been applying to so many jobs lately that I can’t remember). Then it’s the interview, which may be virtual, in-person, or a pre-recorded video interview. This is what I’m getting ready to do. The process seems daunting. They are literally profiling/pre-moulding candidates before making hiring decisions. It’s a bit elitist, but I completely understand why. They obviously have a successful model in place, likely netting them millions. It’s imperative to keep those dollars flowing in, particularly since the starting salary for this entry-level position is terrific. They need to make sure they are getting a decent return on their employees.
Most employers do this to one degree or another, so it’s nothing new. Progressive, at least, is up-front about it. Read their website. Read the job description. Understand the mentally/“type” of person they want, and work to present as such. Go get it!
