Had a positive experience although I did not get the role, was 3 stages. 1 over the phone with recruiters then 2 in person interviews with 4 different managers. The team are very friendly & welcoming. The office is beautiful as well but they ultimately chose someone with more experience.

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at QBE
Interview
Awful experience to be honest. I had two miserable women interviewing me and they were just dull/ bland people. I think it shows they clearly both hated their jobs. The Recruitment Resourcer sent an email over to me containing another person's details, great start to begin with. This gave me a chance to look at the the other candidates LinkedIn profile which displayed; lack of qualifications, irrelevant experience etc
I'm appalled by the fact this was clearly a poor attempt at a HR quota filling exercise. To the middle-aged lady interviewing me, try staying in your job to get your pension. You won't get a job anywhere else....

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at QBE (Birmingham, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
Relaxed and friendly. All interview questions are around the Company's DNA. Competency based questions, therefore review the job profile and skill set required. Review the history of the company and connection with Lloyds
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at QBE (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
A standard straight forward interview process, quite an informal first interview - said they would be back in touch quickly and was not contacted for awhile, which was unprofessional in my opinion.
