Interview
Wonderful interview experience at Republic Airways last Friday. Republic Airways started with a phone screen to confirm flight hours, any incidents, accidents, or failed check rides, then they scheduled an in-person interview in Indianapolis, IN at their new training facility. Three areas that impressed me most: quality of staff (staff like working for RA and wished me good luck on my interview numerous times...very cool), organization (from flights...upbeat and professional flight crew, airport pick-up, check-in/out, breakfast, tour of the training facility, Q&A with Captains, FO, and the interview...as they say well oiled machine), and the facility (new, well laid out and impressive). Be well prepared for the interview and it will go well. The interview is conducted by one HR staff member who asked numerous "tell me a time when" questions, and a Captain - Check Airman who asked basic technical questions (METAR, TAF, and specific questions from a Jeppesen IAP, weather mins, alternate full requirements, aerodynamic questions and hypoxia). All-in-all, the interview was conversational and it was conducted professionally. Low threat for those well prepared. Waiting for CJO. Best of luck to everyone.

Interview
Felt very welcomed. Campus is beautiful. Flew in the night before and stayed in their hotel. Breakfast provided. Tour of the property followed by a presentation and a Q&A with pilots. Interviews followed that.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Republic Airways (Indianapolis, IN) in Apr 2026

Everyone was very nice and the interview process was simple. The atmosphere was very friendly and it felt like they wanted me to be there. Everything felt more like a conversation than an interview.

Interview
The interview process with Republic Airways was an incredibly positive and well-organized experience from start to finish. They flew me in the day before and provided accommodations at their Brickyard hotel, which had an awesome vibe—getting to connect with other pilots in a relaxed setting made it a really enjoyable start.
The next morning included breakfast, followed by a tour of their impressive training facility. It was clear how much they invest in their operation and their people. One of the highlights was the opportunity to have a pilot-only conversation with current line pilots, which gave a genuine and transparent look into the day-to-day experience at Republic.
The formal interview was straightforward and professional, and the entire process felt welcoming and well thought out. After everything wrapped up, they coordinated a smooth shuttle back to the airport for the trip home.
Overall, it was a fun, engaging, and very positive experience that left a great impression of the company and its culture.
