      Interview

Multiple phases: Recruiter call, interview with a Manager, Skills Assessment test (brush up on your Algebra), interview with a second team member, and, finally, a presentation with three other team members. Overall, the process isn't challenging, but it does feel unnecessarily intense. The recruiters move at lightning speed and the interviewers are all VERY big on in-office presence and seem to want to find your weaknesses or challenges. Questions showcasing your skill or wins are quickly dismissed so be sure to add as much detail to set you apart from others. You don't get a chance to revisit or add context to these answers. There is little useful info provided for the presentation. You will be expected to know their portfolio of products and benefits even though you don't work there. The in-person interview was what turned me off from this role. The office dynamic was strange, I heard two people borderline arguing about a deck, No one greeted each other in the hallways or elevator or anywhere really; very 'head's down/don't talk to me' vibe. Someone else had a very bro-like, spontaneous yell. No one near this guy looked amused or was even smiling. The people I presented to were impassive; not even a forced smile or professional platitude. The tone of their questions was condescending and arrogant. I hadn't started the presentation and one of the interviewers tuned out (glazed eyes, clicking away on the laptop). Being in that office was telling of what working there may be like. I was happy to get the email saying they had moved on to other candidates. Good luck to all!
