I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shape Therapeutics (Seattle, WA) in May 2022
Interview
Firstly, the team I interviewed with was great. I would have accepted the offer if it wasn't for their recruiting practices. Two things: 1) Shape lied on the job posting and in multiple documents about the 401(k) stating that there was a match and there is not, 2) I disclosed my salary expectations upfront as requested, and they wasted my time going through the interview process then proceeded to offer me $20k under my minimum acceptable salary.

General background and technical experience questions
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shape Therapeutics (Boston, MA) in Apr 2024
Interview
I had an initial phone interview with a recruiter, followed by another phone call with the hiring manager. Both were informative and focused on behavioral type interview questions. Be prepared to share specific examples in both interviews. I wasn't moved past the second call, but I had a positive experience and will apply again. The next step would have been an onsite interview. The process took one week, and the two people I spoke with were friendly. I learned a lot about the culture, pay and benefits.
