I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shure (Niles, IL) in Feb 2024
Interview
6 rounds, mostly technical discussions describing my experience and some behavioral. Two coding challenges. One leetcode style interview and the other was an abstract programming exercise that was unique and fun.
I applied online. I interviewed at Shure in Apr 2024
Interview
The process was explained in detail and the company was very transparent with everything. But I got rejected after the HM round, and when I asked for feedback, I didn't receive any which was disappointing. I felt I did the interview well as it was basic resume questions, which aligned well with the job requirements.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Shure (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2024
Interview
The entire process took about a month.
After the interview with the hiring manager, it took almost two weeks to reach the final panel interview. The panel interview lasted about 4 hours, including discussions with team members and a final one with HR.
One aspect that I found concerning was when I discussed cloud with one of the interviewers; interviewer resorted to googling and then asked additional questions. I believe this is unfair, as I answered based on my experience, and I expected the same from the interviewer.
The final round was with HR, during which I shared my salary expectation. It took another week to receive a response, where they mentioned they liked me but chose another candidate.
