I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sixt (Bengaluru) in Sept 2025
Interview
I had a very disappointing experience with the interview process. After clearing two technical rounds, I was invited for a face-to-face round in Bangalore. I traveled over 2500 km from my hometown to attend, only to find that the interviewer was not present in the office and the interview was eventually conducted virtually.
Following this, I went through additional rounds (Technical, Hiring Manager, and HR). However, at the end of the process, I was told that my technical feedback was not positive. This raises serious questions — if my technical skills were not considered good enough, then why was I progressed through multiple rounds and even asked to travel such a long distance for an F2F round?
This reflects a lack of respect for candidates’ time, effort, and resources. The process seemed poorly organized and left me with a very negative impression of how the company treats prospective employees.
I would strongly caution candidates to think twice before engaging with this company’s interview process, as it feels misleading and inconsiderate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the first technical round, they asked me a Dynamic Programming question and a problem longest substring without repeating characters.
In the second round, I was asked to design a Low-Level Design (LLD) for a web crawler.
In the Hiring Manager round, the discussion was mainly focused on my past projects and practical experience.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sixt (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Apr 2025
Interview
A welcoming HR representative provided a comprehensive overview of the company and the team. The interview involved a general discussion of my professional experience, focusing on relevant skills and past projects

Interview
I got contacted by the recruiter via LinkedIn. There were total 5 interviews i.e. 1 online test, 3 technical rounds, 1 culture fit round. Overall the interview questions were easy to average. Online test had 1 leetcode medium and 1 leetcode super hard (seriously). After having spent so much time interviewing with them, i got no final word from them. Not even an email. This bugged me big time. Hire or reject, you need to let the candidate know.
