      Sales Finance Interview

      11 Jan 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Snap (New York, NY)

      Interview

Initial phone screen with recruiter to go over job description and get a sense for personality. Then a second call with a Senior was scheduled. Calls are scheduled for 30 minutes and he made sure not to go over. Thought the conversation went smoothly, less technical questions and geared more towards personality and what we wanted from the role. The interviewer was pretty monotone and lacked his personality in the interview. The most disappointing part is the email received about not moving on named the wrong position I had applied for. The email stated the senior role and I didn't apply for that. There is a lack of organization on their end. The interviewer also didn't have a copy of my resume on our call, I had to forward it to him.
