I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spencer Stuart in Feb 2015
Interview
The interview is mostly reviewing your resume and going through basic behavioral questions- make sure you can explain why you are interested in executive search, know your strengths/weaknesses, and know the different industries that SS works with. They will walk through your resume and ask questions about your specific experiences
the phone screening is followed by an hour long interview (i did this during covid so can't guarantee same experience)
it was a laid back conversation but you still have to be prepared to answer formal questions about yourself and why you're interested in the company
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Spencer Stuart
Interview
The interview process is really straight forward. The questions are primarily behavioral with a few questions about research experience. I had four skype interviews over three rounds of interviews. Everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Spencer Stuart (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The process started with a phone interview about a month after I had submitted my resume. I spoke to an associate who was very nice. However, I ended up completing 6 more interviews before getting the job as I had to interview with ~2-3 people from each office I was interested in.
