I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stanford Health Care (Stanford, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
My first interview was with the hiring manager, who was was very personable and sincere. It wasn't a position for new grad, so it was very straight forward. We talked about my project experiences and my skills, she told me the expectations and wanted me to kind of "promise" that I wouldn't leave this position soon (several years) after I get this offer. I had no idea how to respond because I didn't know the benefits and the culture at all. A week later, the HR scheduled a call with me and told me all benefits. I decided to move forward but never got any response anymore. A month later, I was told by a systematic email that they hired someone else.

Question 1
are you willing to relocate what have you been doing for your current job
Phone screening, I had only one call with the hiring manager for 30 minutes. He tried to understand me as a person, he asked about my interests and my thesis. Asked why I choose this project, he tried to understand how am I thinking. Behavioral questions and so on.

Interview
Hiring manager ghosted me after setting up an interview. Tried following up but no luck. I was really looking forward to the interview. Not sure what I could have done differently.
