I applied through other source. I interviewed at State Farm (San Francisco, CA) in May 2011
Interview
The agent of record sat with me in the conference room. We had met before. He expressed reservations about my ability to replace the previous office go-fer, who was leaving for college. So explained the first 3 months were probationary. He made me a little nervous because of his direct, blunt manner.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Farm (Las Vegas, NV) in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied online, I was given instructions to upload a self-recorded video answering their questions. I went back and forth with them about sending the file. A few days later I texted them for an update, they responded by sending an email with a link to a licensing training with a discounted fee. The job post ended up being a sales pitch for the training, not an actual job, why ask applicants to self-record an interview making us believe there is a job behind it, just say we're selling an online training. There is no job.
