Contrary to popular belief, you don't necessarily need a GPA above 3.0 to be a TA. If you got a good grade in a course, and are on good terms with the professor that is in charge of it, you can wager a shot at asking. Because you get graded credits for being a TA, you can easily use this to boost your GPA.
