They asked me three very basic questions to basically see if I'm breathing. However, a bit of research afterwards revealed this is a scam á la Cutco knives. I realized I never even applied here, they just sent me an email out of the blue, and I've applied to so many places I didn't realize.

Question 1
If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be?
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Studio Innovation (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2025
Interview
I went through two rounds of interviews and was initially excited about the opportunity. However, the process quickly became disorganized. The second-round interview was scheduled for 30 minutes but ended up taking over an hour, followed by a surprise questionnaire that needed to be completed within the next hour—none of which was communicated ahead of time. This was especially frustrating since I had work obligations that day.
Despite this, I moved forward to the final round, which was scheduled via both text and email for later that same day. I joined the Zoom call on time and ended up waiting for over an hour—no one ever showed up. I followed up via email and text but never received a response. At this point, it seems I’ve been ghosted.
If the company had simply canceled the interview or communicated a change, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But after investing time and energy into their process, being left with radio silence was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.
