I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sutter Health (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
At the time I applied for the job, the clinic had just barely merged with Sutter, so my comments can't be viewed as representative of Sutter. A friend of mind who is a doctor at the practice, invited me to apply so I did. I interviewed with 3 doctors and one nurse, but not as a group. The interviews were 1:1.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Sutter Health
Interview
Manager interview only, no other managers, assistant managers, nurses, or people present during the interview. On-site in the unit. Manager is very cool, professional, knowledgeable, confident, kind, and understanding :-)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you supported a family experiencing fear or grief in the NICU. How did you approach the situation?
Straightforward interview. A few scenario questions and discussion of my background. No panel, just the floor manager. Interview lasted about 40 minutes and received an offer the next day. Other interviews at Sutter have involved a panel of managers but otherwise were similar to this one.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had a disagreement with a coworker and how you handled it.
It was a panel interview with managers and other staff nurses, conducted in person and on site. They each took turns asking questions, but overall, it was a really good experience.
