I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Synchrony (Philadelphia, PA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Initially, I was contacted by a recruiter who saw my profile on Linkedin. He said that I had the skills and experience required for that position. I went to Synchrony's website and applied for the job. A few days later, I had a phone interview (screening) with a Sales Manager. After two weeks, I had a face-to-face interview, with two Sales Directors and a Sales Manager (the latter was the Hiring Manager) in an office in Downtown Philadelphia.

What questions do you have about our company and the job position?
The process was drawn out for a little over a month just for me to make it to my final interview with the hiring manager whom doesn’t bother to show up to our video interview. I had to reach out to HR on my own just for the interviewer to give me an excuse that their computer wasn’t working, if that was true why didn’t I get notified about this, why couldn’t a call take place via phone instead. Days later I was able to reschedule this call on my own though the interviewer never reached out to me. The interview just seemed like it was done to avoid me from making accusations as to why this call did not take place, especially since I am highly experienced & did so well in my prior interview. Needless to say I did not get a job, I just received an email the day after my interview informing the position was being filled. Needless to say I have no interest in applying for this company ever again.
