I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Bristol, PA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Received a text message as the initial interest from hiring manager. Not my preferred nor expected method of initial communication for the beginning of the interview process. Was scheduled for an interview time. The day came and the hiring manager texted me once again to say he needed to reschedule. I obliged. Met him at a store, went through the typical questions of background, hypotheticals, and the ever redundant salary requirements question (even though they had already posted the salary online).
Was then called a few days later and asked to provide a "first 90 days plan of action" document to describe what my first 90 days in role would entail, which I did.
2 weeks passes, no communication. I send an email inquiring about the status of the interview process, no reply.
Two weeks later, I call the hiring manager directly to inquire about the status of the interview process. He replies that they have selected another candidate.
I don't bother to ask why a simple courtesy email letting me know wasn't sent, because given the way the early stages of the process played out, it didn't come as a surprise that common professionalism wouldn't be employed by this hiring manager.
Overall a waste of time. Don't post the salary, then ask the candidate what their expectations are, then when they repeat the amount listed on the job listing, wrap up the interview like they're asking too much. Highly annoying.
Over the phone and then a face to face with operations manager. I also interviewed with the sales director in their home office. They reviewed my resume and asked more qualifying questions pertaining my experience.
I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
I had a wonderful phone interview with someone from their corporate office. I was told I would get a phone call from the human resources department in my state. Unfortunately, that was a month ago and no one has called me.
