The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2011
Interview
I first talked to this company at a career fair and they set up my first interview date that day. The first interview was about 3 weeks later with a Store Manager who had come to my campus for the day to do many interviews. I had received a reminder email and a generic email about what to research for them. From there I received an email from our campus representative that I was passed on to the 2nd round of interviews and received an email from a different lady who worked in the district office about interviewing with them. I traveled to interview at the district office and also interviewed with the store manager where the office was located. Finally, I received a call from the HR department to set up a final phone interview with the HR Manager. A few days later I called her and only talked for about 30 minutes. That same day I received a call from the campus rep that I was being offered the job!
Interviewers were really open about the process and let you know what they were looking for. They even asked more questions if they needed more information.
Questions were written down as Situation, Action and Results. You could clearly see them writing in each column as you began each question. They also rank your behavior as low medium high.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
