      Business Analyst Interview

      21 Dec 2011
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Minneapolis, MN
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Dec 2011

      Interview

I initiated contact with Target by applying for the Business Analyst Intern position on Target's careers portal. I received an email from an HR representative a couple of weeks later requesting a phone interview, specifying a date range and asking what a good time for me would be. I emailed back times that would work for me, and the HR representative responded with a final interview time (a couple weeks later). He called at this specified time for the interview, and was very friendly. The interview consisted of questions mostly pertaining to why I would like to work at Target, and what my ideal career path might be, along with a couple of standard interview questions. There weren't any behavioral questions, which surprised me, since these were more the type of questions I had prepared for. He told me at the end of the interview that they would respond within 10 business days regardless of whether or not I got the position. I got an email the next day saying that they had decided to pursue other candidates.
