I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Denton, TX) in Sept 2020
Interview
I applied to this position over a month ago and never heard anything back, so I assumed they were not interested, but about a week ago I got the email asking for an interview. When I got to the interview I had to wait about 20 minutes because the team lead doing the interview was on his lunch break. He was very friendly and personable. After the interview he informed me that F&B was pretty much staffed up but that they needed Guest Advocates (cashiers) if I was interested. I said yes and we scheduled the second interview.
The wait for the second interview was only about 5-10 minutes. The woman interviewing me seemed a little disoriented during the interview, I think it was supposed to be done by someone else, but she was very nice. After the questions she told me to look out for a phone call or email about orientation so I was basically offered the job on the spot.
Both of the interviews were very similar to each other, mostly behavioral questions with some standard ones thrown in. If you get past the first interview I wouldn't worry too much about the second because there wasn't any unexpected questions.

Question 1
First interview: Describe your past work experience, and why you left your previous job if applicable.
Say that you come into work and the store is very busy with customers and you have a list of tasks that need to be completed. What would you do in this situation?
lasted like 5 minutes, think they were desperate to be honest. two people interviewed me at once. i arrived 20 minutes before my interview time slot and i left after 10 minutes.
Not too bad. First had an online interview using Spark. Over the phone interview and was asked when I could start. Other than that, it was an easy process. Asked the main questions such as tell me about yourself
There was an online test, it was more like a personality exam. Asking what you would do in different scenarios and how you would solve problems. It was a recorded online interview. That was fairly easy. Once that goes through they make the choice to hire you or not, if you recieve a call you got the job.
